The Civil War
Historical Fiction
Setting of historical world takes
place in Charleston Bay South Carolina. The year is 1861, April 12th
at the start of the Civil War. The Civil War was started by the Greek Gods Ares
and Zeus. The Gods were responsible for caring for earth and seeing that it always
thrived and flourished. Ares, God of war, was always in a quarrel with Zeus,
God of Olympus. Ares wanted control of Olympus and was always looking for ways
to weaken Zeus to overtake his throne. Ares goes to visit a fortune telling
witch, who tells him that she sees the corruption and suffering of American
slaves coming to an end. She also saw many men and women of color greatly
contributing to the success of America.
Ares knew what a great influence
America had on the rest of the world and that if he could corrupt its potential
he would. Ares sent down his eldest son, Lees, to be born and raised in the U.S
named Robert E. Lee. He would grow up to be the leader of the confederate army
and help turn the country against itself. Zeus discovered Ares’s plan and
immediately sought to stop him. Zeus decided to send down his wisest son, Link.
Link was born into the U.S as Abraham Lincoln, and would become the 16th
president and help bring restoration and peace to America. It was a cold and
dark time for the U.S. Over one million people lost their lives fighting with
one another over the course of four years of war.
