The corals only need minimal
architectural protection because they live in an underground cave that has a
regulated climate. However, they do have large rooms with light for worship to
their Crystal god. It is made completely out of crystal and the lanterns and
luminescent light reflect the crystals to reveal the beauty of the structure.
The corals go there to reflect and thank the crystal god for protection from
the harsh wrath of the cold above. The cave is always around sixty degrees, but
the corals are thick skinned and are used to the cooler temperature. The Coral’s
cave is a wide, open space with a large crystal at the top that reaches to the
roof of the cave. The cave has some small hills made of smooth stone that the
Corals can climb. At the top of the tallest hill in the cave lies the crystal
shrine. The corals climb up the dry side of the hill to worship at the shrine.
On their way back, the corals enjoy sliding down the slippery, smooth side of
the hill where the water trickles down out of the shrine. They slide down and
land in the pool at the bottom where they can bathe.
The corals have parks and gardens where the creatures of the
cave and corals can play, eat and rest. It consists of large, open spaces with
lots of botanical plants that gain their life through the crystals.
Since everything among the Coral’s
is shared, there are no typical homes. Instead the Corals sleep in holes inside
the cave walls. The holes are warm and dry, which makes them a comfortable
place to sleep.
Kitchens are large communal spaces
where the corals who are chefs cook for the rest of the corals. Certain corals
are gardeners while others are in charge of live stock, so in a way all the
corals contributed to gathering and producing food.
Bathrooms consist of digging a hole and then burying it. It
provides fertilization for more crops to grow.
For leisure many corals enjoy
taking long baths in the pools or playing water sports. They enjoy crystal
diving since some of the pools are very deep. The corals enjoy having contests
of who can collect the most crystals while diving and holding their breath.
